KNOWN is a minimalist, luxury botanical skincare company rooted in the belief that clarity creates confidence. The brand is focused on offering clean, intentional skincare supported by thoughtful formulation and a refined point of view.

EARTHE partnered with KNOWN to design a visual identity that reflects this philosophy through intentionality, minimalism, and confidence. The objective was to create a system that feels elevated and trustworthy while remaining simple, direct, and unmistakable.

The skincare space is heavily saturated, with many brands relying on complex visual systems, dense storytelling, and trend-driven aesthetics to stand out. This often creates confusion rather than trust.

KNOWN required an identity that could communicate credibility immediately. The brand needed to feel premium without excess, bold without being loud, and minimal without feeling empty. The challenge was to strip the identity down to its essentials while ensuring it still carried presence and authority.

At the core of the system is a bold, custom wordmark designed to be instantly recognizable. The typography is confident and precise, built to stand on its own without supporting graphics or ornamentation.

The broader visual system is intentionally restrained. Clean layouts, thoughtful spacing, and a disciplined typographic hierarchy allow the brand name and products to lead. Every element serves a clear purpose, reinforcing trust and cohesion across all touchpoints.
